Toddler Tuesdays

Pony Fun for the Little Ones!

Toddler Tuesdays at Quiet Rein Farm are a special opportunity for our youngest horse lovers to experience the magic of the barn in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. Designed for children ages 2–5, these sessions introduce toddlers to horses through hands-on interaction, guided pony experiences, and age-appropriate activities alongside a parent or caregiver.

Each session includes time for meeting and grooming our gentle lesson ponies, simple leading activities, and short, guided rides when appropriate. Our goal is to help children build confidence, coordination, and comfort around animals while enjoying time outdoors in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Schedule: Tuesdays 10AM-11:30AM

Cost: $40/s

At Quiet Rein Farm, we believe a love for horses starts young—and Toddler Tuesdays are the perfect first step in what we hope becomes a lifelong passion.

Why Toddler Tuesdays?

Toddler Tuesdays at Quiet Rein Farm offer more than just a fun morning at the barn—they provide a meaningful foundation for early childhood development. Interacting with horses encourages children to build confidence, independence, and emotional awareness in a unique, hands-on setting.

Through guided activities like grooming, leading, and riding, toddlers develop balance, coordination, and core strength, all while improving fine and gross motor skills. Being around horses also helps children learn patience, gentle communication, and respect for animals, fostering empathy and connection from an early age.

The structured yet relaxed environment supports listening skills, focus, and following directions, while still allowing space for exploration and play. Spending time outdoors and engaging with animals has also been shown to promote calmness, sensory development, and overall well-being.

At Quiet Rein Farm, we believe these early experiences go far beyond the barn—helping children grow into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals.
